The Lighthouse of Calenis

The Lighthouse of Calenis – God of Day and Light, is a majestic and grand structure that stands at the rocky outcrop of Oratin, making sure incoming ships are aware of the land and preventing them from crashing into the cliffs.
Standing at an impressive height of 150 feet (45 meters), the lighthouse's light can be seen from a considerable distance. Its location along the coastline allows it to cast its guiding light far out into the Arkbay.
The lighthouse has a long and storied history, dating back several centuries. It is said to have been commissioned by a group of visionary seafarers who recognized the need for a navigational aid to protect ships from the bay's treacherous waters and rocky shores. Over the years, it has been maintained and expanded upon by generations of dedicated keepers.

In recent years, a visitor center has been established near the base of the lighthouse, allowing tourists and locals alike to learn about its history, its significance to Oratin, and the dedication of its keepers. Visitors can often climb a portion of the lighthouse to enjoy panoramic views of the city and the shimmering Arkbay.
Beyond its maritime role, the Lighthouse of Solara also serves as a place of worship for the city's inhabitants. Just next to the entrance a chapel that's dedicated to Solara has been placed, allowing the followers of him pray with the sunrises of the Arkbay.
