Divine Domains
Strength
- Strength is at the center of all of Kords teachings. Kord wishes his followers to be strong, as strength and might is the only measure of worth in living beings. Those who are weak shall be subservient to those who have strength.
Ambition
- The second tenant of the faith of Kord is to prove your might to win glory and renown. It is important that followers of Kord are never content with where they are in terms of strength and power. One should always be searching for more strength, and more renown. Only when one is second only to Kord should they be satisfied.
Blood
- Vitality and physical health, and therefore blood plays a part in the faith and following of Kord. To be strong one must be healthy and blood is a very large component of this health. Clerics who embrace this side of Kord use this domain to bolster their own vitality and spiritual health.
Battle
- Though not a god of war, battle still is a domain of Kord. Kord is a patron of athletes and athletics, and therefore sports. Sports to the followers of Kord are nothing but battles of strength, endurance and physical prowess, as such they see him as a god of battles.
Holy Books & Codes
The followers of Kord look to a single slab written in celestial that can be traced back to before the cataclysm. Once translated it appeared to be a list of guidelines that one should live by in order to follow the teachings of Kord. Called the 20 Ideals, it was translated by St. Hjargen the founder of the Children of Kord.
The 20 Ideals is one of the shortest holy texts of any faith. Being no more than a couple sentences each the whole code can be condensed down to about 2 pages. Many of Kord’s faithful carry a small booklet that has the 20 ideals written within, along with meditations on the meanings and significance of each ideal. However they all try to remain true to the first Ideal which many consider the most important of the ideals: Actions over words.

Relationship Reasoning
Kord has a deep respect for Ilmater and his continued martyrdom for others. It shows true strength and proves he puts his words to actions. He has allowed the Broken God to lean on him when he cannot walk, and Ilmater has given him a realm in bitopia in which to build his hall of heroes.
