King William I of Aedeyne declares war to all who oppose him as he marches his troops towards the Bloodlight mountain in the west.

King William I of Aedeyne sought to solidify his position by conquering the Caírdunnàn province. King William suspected that the region would heavily resist his efforts and mobilized a large part of his personal army and bannermen.   King William's suspicions were accurate as the rather tribal and hardy people of Caírdunnàn quickly allied themselves to defend their ancestral lands. Their formidable strongholds and unyielding disposition caused the armies of Aedeyne to barely advance at all.   After 7 years of bloodshed that drained most of the Kingdoms coffers, King William succeeded in conquering the last bastion of resistance; Fellwind. Even while House Hammerhelm bend the knee, their heir to the throne, Prince Ecberth the Wolf rushed in to kill their conquerer. After he severed William's lower arm, the Prince was shot by a crossbowman and died.
