The Devil's Child

The Devil's Child is a gargantuan creature that lurked between the Spring and Summer Isles of the Requian Coast. It was rumored that it was the child of the Kraken and some mystery creature, making it one of the most feared creatures in the coast's waters.

Abilities & Powers

The Devil's Child's most feared feature was its two tube-like tentacles that extended from the bottom of its jaw that shun ghostly lines of light, sucking the soul of every creature that was caught underneath it. Otherwise, its sheer size, strength, and ability of flight made it a menacing foe to ship and fellow monstrosity alike.

Demise of the Devil

The Devil's Child had a deep hatred for mortals, destroying their ships and eating everyone it found. The final ship it attacked was the S.S. Pumpernickel, a fishing vessel there to catch from what was believed to be a plentiful area. Only a few survived, one of which being their captain Richard Handcock who since that day wanted vengeance. He eventually got it after joining Tempest's End and becoming a champion of Thernet. Him and his revenant crew killed the monstrosity so they may rest. Though Richard had the choice to return to life after the faithful battle, he chose to be with his ghostly crew.
