The Western Ocean

Vast beyond measure, the Western Ocean stretches past the horizon. No reports of what lies on the other side of the unending waters have every been confirmed. Sea monsters of immense size dwell in those depths, combined with the magical storms and the sheer size of the ocean have prevented any successful voyages, limiting all ships to stay on this side of that great divide.   But that is not to say the ocean is devoid of interest, quite the opposite. The waters closer to land teem with numerous islands and hidden corners. From the distant Summer Isles, to the bureaucracy of Red Haven, to the mysterious depths of the Whispering Labyrinth, there are a myriad of places to travel and trade. And that is completely ignoring the vast undersea empire that is the Kingdom Beneath the Waves. No, wonders and delights, dangers and death, treasure and folly can all be found in these ever-shifting seas. And the brave souls who sail her all have different tails to tell of this amazing, beautiful, and deadly place.
