    Tormod MacSual drives the mist giants out of the central valley, and builds a fortress, named Curnbrey Hold.

    Founding

    A warband under the leadership of Ceegan Duly makes a settlement in the ruins of an ancient city. They call the place Herenstal, and city becomes the southernmost city under High King MacSaul.

    The brothers Telor and Talfryn encounter the Beast in the Lake, and forge a pact with it. They found a city around its lake, and name it Coehoven.

    War with the Wild Men
    Military: War

    The druidic circles of the Wild Wood grow weary of encroaching settlers, and attack. The war lasts for several years, and ends with the complete destruction of the Wild Circles, and the founding of Cathair Fiodha as the southern-most stronghold of Fearann Briste.

    Sacking of Curnbrey Hold
    Disaster / Destruction

    A massive warband of blood barbarians breaks through the walls of Teichos, and make it as far as Curnbrey Hold. The city lasts for almost a month, before being overrun. The death toll is in the tens of thousands.   The warband is caught in the midst of their mindless bloodshed between the pursuing armies of Teichos from the north, and reinforcements from Caerhayes led by the Wardkeeper Lucas MacClancy (who would become the next High King) from the south. The barbarians are killed to a man, and their foul icons destroyed with fire.

    The War of Lairds
    Military: War

    After the Death of High King Lucas MacClancy, a dispute breaks out over the election of the next High King. The Council of Lairds in deadlocked between Seamus MacClancy, Lucas's son, popular with the wealthier west, and Harold Bonebreaker, a famous warrior with a strong following in the south and east. The conflict grows into an exchanging of blows (not unusual for halfling politics), but in the confusion Keegan Galloway, Laird of Coehoven is killed. A blood feud is announced, and the war takes almost 3 years to settle. By the end, both contenders for the throne are dead, and it takes another 20 years before the next High King claims the throne.

    Death of Tiarnán Maguire
    Life, Death

    Tairnan Maguire, the Last High King of Fearann Briste, dies in personal combat with a Lich at the fortress of An Túr Dubh in the north. He leaves no nominated heir, and none step forward to claim the position. The Council at Curnbrey Hold maintain that, with the death of the Lich, no High King is required in this time of peace.

    Ceredig Grannd renames Ban Calais
    Civil action

    Ceredig Grannd returns from his wanderings to become the next Timberlord, bringing with him his new Marisian wife, Marie-Noelle Dubost. He renames the city (formerly Cathair Fiodha, or "Timbertown") to Ban Calais in her honor, (Ban Calais mean "City for my Beloved" in her native Marisian), and challenges any objectors to a personal duel.
