Green Home
Colonised in 2295, Green Home became the first world outside the solar system to provide a home for humanity at the start of the short period called the Golden Age Of Adventure
Green Home is the third planet in the Tau Ceti system, about 12 light years from Earth.
The Agarite Theological Centre, the most important college for the training of Void Priests within the Void Church is based on Green Home, on the large island of Sasslos.

Geography
Green Home is similar to Earth in size and climatic conditions and was considered a kind of paradise by the first explorers and colonists. A world encompassing ocean occupies about eighty percent of the surface of the planet, with the remaining area divided into two major continents and some smaller landmasses. The small land of Hasengrath includes the north geographic pole and is ice bound all year round. The continent of Aeld winds in a long thin band around the mid lattitudes of the northern hemisphere and is the largest single land mass by area. Septos, the second continent in the southern hemisphere is the site of the first landing surveys and is where the population of human colonists is greatest.
North of Septos is the large island of Sasslos which is also an important location for human settlement. At the equator, there are a number of tropical archipelagos of which the best known is the Siren Islands.
Fauna & Flora
Amongst the bettter known flora of Green Home is the Regulin tree which grows on the shores of the numerous small islands in the tropical belt of the planet, including the Siren Islands. It produces Fesqua nuts. These nuts are the source of blaze oil, a vital ingredient in the production of the spirit quazak, distilled rye flavoured with apples and blaze oil. Blaze oil is also mixed with arrowroot and mallow to make trimol and is used in various medicinal treatments.
The nuts come in two kinds because the Regulin tree has two different mechanisms for sexual reproduction.
Le grand Fesqua has heavy, dark purple shiny shells the size of a man’s head. When you crack them open there’s a rich, sticky, velvet green liquid inside which can be decanted just as it is; pure blaze oil.
La petite Fesque are much the more common and they do contain an essence of blaze oil but it needs to be crushed and distilled and it is much harder to extract.
Regulin trees have been exported and cultivated on other worlds within the Bubble where climatic conditions are similar to their native environment, for example the Azure Isles on New Cambria.
