Drow

After entering The Underdark with the rest of the Dark-Elves, many were unable to bear the mental strain of the darkly magical underground. Those who broke became known as the Drow. The Drow are a twisted version of Dark-elves who delight in pain and suffering. They were once split into many great houses but now only four remain.

History

The Drow find themselves fighting both amongst themselves and with their Dark-elf cousins. Their cruel nature resulted in them being put under the effect of an immensely powerful curse that prevents any Drow from leaving the Underdark. This means that all Drow are born and die in the Underdark.
