Orcs

Orcs are a native species to The Capital Isle. Prior to the colonisation of the Settler Races, the two main tribes of orcs, the Al' Chizel orcs and the Der' Gerath, were the main power holders on the Isle.

Orcs tend to live as tribes, with there are two major clans which the bloodline of every orc can be traced back to. The Der' Gerath who live in the north and the Al' Chizel who live in the south. Outwith the two main clans, there are a few smaller groups that have set up small settlements throughout the Capital Isle and beyond.

History

The Al' Chizel tried to kill the settler races that were beginning to colonise their land. The Der' Gerath sided with the settlers, pushing their kin back. As a result the Der' Gerath were offered trade and support from the settlers. The Al' Chizel gave the Der' Gerath the cruel nickname of Half-orc for turning on their former brothers.
