The Sentinel Gem's
The sentinel gems are the source of power for the legendary beings The Sentinels. Each being has its own gem with powers associated with the sentinels element. A sentinel can offer its gem to a mortal it deems worthy with little impact to itself. Alternatively, if a sentinel is destroyed its essence is scattered and all that is left is its gem.
Significance
The Sentinels are believed to have used most of their power to shape the Capital Isle, using their gems as a power source.
