Tiefling

Tieflings are humans that were infused with the touch of the fiendish planes during The Dark War. Tieflings are known for their cunning and personal allure, which make them excellent deceivers as well as inspiring leaders when prejudices are laid aside.
Although their evil ancestors could be many generations removed, the taint lingers. Unlike half-fiends, tieflings are not predisposed to evil alignments and varied in alignment nearly as widely as full humans, though tieflings are certainly devious. The celestial counterparts of tieflings are Aasimar.

History

When Nero came to The Capital Isle, he enslaved many thousands and turned them into his demonic servants. One of these slaves was able to break free of the Sentinels control and begin liberating the other slaves. This individual was Morthos Kairon, who is regarded as the first tiefling and is a deity for their kind.
