Nero

(a.k.a. The Flaming Titan, Lord of Fire)

Nero was one of the ancient elemental Sentinels that were believed to have formed The Capital Isle. He was the sentinel of fire and a demon lord of the Abyss. He invaded The Material Plane during the event known as The Dark War, but was destroyed. His power was scattered and all that remained was his Sentinel Gem that is currently on display in The Dark War Museum.

He used the power of The Fire Gem to enslave thousands, turning them into half human/ half demon slaves. After Morthos Kairon broke free of the control, he began to break the hold that Nero held over them. After the dust of the dark war had settled, these half demon slaves became the race known as Tieflings.
