Graklyf
"In the rocky foothills of the Domart Mountains, on the edge of a steep, grey cliff lies the village of Graklyf. The castle guards the serpentine road that leads from the main valley to the Thickets of Val on the plateau of Grak, a barren woodland on the southern borders of The Fendalian Great Vale.
Baron Rosgar rules from the castle, and is one of the many Fendalian lords in the Vale. Throughout the War of the Vale Grak Castle was able to withstand many assaults, even after Derwon Castle had fallen. When the Fendalian Great Vale was surrendered to Burbry, Rosgar reluctantly retreated from his holding. Upon the signing of the Treaty of Derwon, all holdings in The Great Vale were returned to their respective lords – or their heirs – from before the war. Baron Rosgar was all too happy to return to his home after the war and swore he would never again see it in enemy hands.
The village outside of the castle is made up of a small collection of farms around an old, converted Burbric shrine, now dedicated to the Four Divine Houses of The Great Balance. The people of Graklyf often gather on the walled hill around the church for festivities and ceremonies.
Inside the castle are several guesthouses, as well as a blacksmith and a church of Kordus, the God of War and Order. The castle itself is the home of Baron Rosgar and contains a houses the great hall, armoury and barracks, as well as the residences of the baron and his family."
