Silent River

The Continuum      Irios      Silent River

The Silent River is a river existing in Western Irios and is primarily controlled by Ione. The river flows southeast from Jewel Lake and terminates after approximately 158km, and aligns closely with the edge of Sanctum Forest.
The Silent River, along with the Jhio River, form the basis of the borders of Ione.

History

During the Time of Trials, The Fortenes a precursor group that eventually formed Ione, founded Vane, one of it's earliest settlements after emerging from Sanctum Forest at the end of the river in 259 as a scouting outpost.
After the conclusion of the Time of Trials, Ione expanded it's borders south of the termination point of the Silent River to control their holy land.
