Upper Deck Tavern
"My philosophy is to drink up at the Deck and then work through the hangover the next day. My numbers stay good so they can't stop me!"

Purpose / Function
This is a classic dive bar that serves the citizens of Fuyao Beimei. It mostly caters to the factory employees and blue collar civic workers, but a good number of executives can't deny the charm they find and can be found there as well. Darts and karaoke tend to be the favorite pastimes of the patrons.
Alterations
The building has been kept up over time , with the brick being redone and even replaced extensively at the turn of the century. It's kept a green awning, but is now providing it's name in traditional Mandarin as well as English. The bar is mostly supplied with Chinese beer and liquor.
Architecture
It's a two story red brick building, with pairs of skinny windows on the top, and the second floor extended out to the side with a lounge area.
History
Upper Deck was a well established Moraine bar, appreciated by the locals. When Fuyao Glass Industry Group decided to form Fuyao Beimei, they did not start with interfering with any of the established businesses. Some left out of fear of the change. Upper Deck stubbornly stayed.
The management at Fuyao wanted to ease the citizens with familiar spaces, so Upper Deck was able to operate as long as the owners became citizens adherent to the rules. Over the years, the succession plan became an assigned position by the leadership of Fuyao Beimei. Chief Executives have tried to at least give the appearance that the position is not a political appointment by any means, typically assigning a long time employee of the bar to take over the operations. The assigned managers are not given any direct perks by Fuyao, but some of the social connections one gains are obvious to anyone.
