Fuyao Beimei
"I can only see this making the people of Morraine stronger. Of course, it will make China stronger too, but not by much."

Demographics
The majority of population is descended from the original middle class and poor population of the area, mostly Caucasian with a smattering of the other nationalities that were found in the area in the early 21st century. The remaining tenth of the population are descended from the original Chinese elite that moved in after the formation of the nation (though not all are 100% ethnically Chinese anymore).
Government
The law is dictated by votes from the investors of Fuyao Glass Industry Group . Most government positions are "voted on" but are usually kept in the same prestigious families, and kept within the upper echelons of the elite.
Defences
There is a combination of defense tech that patrols the borders managed by a small, well armed militia. Occasionally there are small tanks seen casually driving down the road. Locals aren't sure if the tanks are there for their protection or their submission.
Industry & Trade
The glass production factories are the main source of income for the corporate nation. Everything else that is produced in there is not exported, but for the population within.
Infrastructure
The factories in the area produce automobile, airplane and aerospace vehicle glass. There are also local farms to help feed the population, including livestock.
History
Cao DeWong spoke with the leaders of Morraine early in the year of 2023, inviting them in to his sound investment strategy. By late 2023, DeWong has bought half the town despite resistance from some locals. From there, he declared Fuyao BeiMei a corporate nation, one of the first in the rust belt of the United States.
As the land value lowered, DeWong and the former Morraine government officials bought up the rest to expand the corporate nation. For the first couple of years, things functioned somewhat like they had before. A good amount of investors who were based in China moved to the small town in order to bask in the fruits of Fuyao's production. Then in 2026, the union was outlawed. That's when the real changes happened.
Over the years, the pay never increased for the employees of Fuyao. Instead, more services were offered as part of the package. Housing was rented at extremely low rates, although no one was able to buy a home outright. Food was severely discounted. Childcare was free. Shuttle services allowed residents to not have to spend money on car maintenance and upkeep. Less taxes were taken out of one's pay as Fuyao's profits and business dealings helped maintain the town. After a generation of this, many of the residents hadn't realized these services provided made them dependent on the Fuyao company for their daily living. So when the work days were extended to 6 days for 7 hours, it wasn't easy for many of them to leave.
To keep the workforce isolated, the working class children were taught Mandarin starting in 2065. Fuyao started producing their own money as of 2069. Those who were considered loyal, mixed with former East Asian mercenaries, were hired into the small militia that kept tight tabs on the borders. As the original houses aged into disrepair, row houses were made within walking distance to the factories.
As the years went on, the population at first decreased, but then grew again as the population of failed corporate nations hear of the manufacturing nations in the rust belt and find that Fuyao is at least clean and pleasant. Some even escape other corporate nations thinking that Fuyao is cleaner and happier. Currently, most who stay there do so out of the generations of intentional isolation.

Architecture
Anything that was made by Fuyao looks like it was a 3D printed block of stone. Rows of identical housing are very close to the large glass factory complex, with tiny windows that hang high on the walls. The rest of the land is wood farm houses in the classic american design.
