As the Dark War intensified, the Crimson Knights strategically targeted Abraxas's top generals, Hiroh and Kahr, aiming to weaken Nentryl's formidable might before confronting the malevolent orchestrator himself. The Clash of Snow, focusing on Hiroh, brought the Pretonian army led by Anfal against the necromancer's undead forces. The battlefield, draped in snow, witnessed a clash of skill and strategy, with Anfal's disciplined forces prevailing against Hiroh's minions. Inside the fortress, Anfal engaged Hiroh in a fierce duel, the culmination of their long-standing rivalry. Though Hiroh initially displayed moments of dominance, Anfal's tactical brilliance and combat prowess turned the tide. Anfal's strategic maneuvers allowed him to deal a decisive blow, ending Hiroh's life and silencing the bitterness that fueled the necromancer's ambitions. The Clash of Snow marked a significant triumph for the Crimson Knights, signaling their unwavering determination to weaken Nentryl's forces and ultimately bring an end to the dark reign looming over the Crean Isles.

As the Dark War hurtled towards its climactic conclusion, the Crimson Knights found themselves facing the daunting task of confronting Abraxas, the malevolent orchestrator of Nentryl's dark reign. Aware of the overwhelming might of Nentryl, the Knights devised a strategic plan to weaken their formidable foe by targeting Abraxas's top generals—Hiroh and Kahr.   The first skirmish in this calculated assault was dubbed the Clash of Snow, focusing on Hiroh, the necromancer who had long been a nemesis to Anfal. The Pretonian army, led by Anfal, marched determinedly toward Hiroh's formidable fortress, prepared to face the undead forces under the necromancer's command.   The battlefield, draped in a blanket of snow, became the stage for the intense confrontation. Hiroh, a master of necromancy, unleashed his array of undead minions against the advancing Pretonian forces. However, the disciplined and battle-hardened Pretonian army, led by Anfal, demonstrated superior prowess, swiftly overpowering the undead hordes.   Inside the confines of the fortress, Anfal confronted Hiroh in a duel that echoed with the weight of their longstanding rivalry. The clash was fierce, with both combatants showcasing their mastery of the arcane and their skills in the art of war. At times, it seemed as though Hiroh might gain the upper hand, but Anfal, a seasoned tactician, had devised a plan.   In a decisive moment, Anfal executed a series of tactical maneuvers that allowed him to land a lethal blow on Hiroh. Severely injured, Hiroh, in his final moments, unleashed a torrent of bitterness, recounting the perceived injustices of being denied entry into Valtara. Anfal, resolute and determined, silenced his adversary, delivering the finishing blow that brought an end to the long-standing rivalry between the two.   The Clash of Snow concluded, leaving the snow-covered battlefield bearing witness to the fall of Hiroh, one of Abraxas's key generals. The Crimson Knights, having achieved a significant victory, pressed forward in their mission to weaken Nentryl and bring an end to the dark reign that had gripped the Isles for far too long.
