After a few days cooling in jail the team get's a new lead out of Phaedra and hears a tale of woe from a dragon.

The crew leaves Phaedra to cool off in the jail for three days, then hit her with a Probe Thoughts. They learn a few things such as there's Council of Shades that she reports to and that she has a mole in The Church of Mystra that has been passing her information on their movements.

That mole is Chanter Moratile, the lore keeper and assistant librarian. The team starts to stalk him, sending their new bard ally in undercover to try and sus out what he's been up to. The ask around and catch rumors that he is actually a dragon, but that surely must be just talk as no one could confirm it.

The team took matters into their own hands and broke into the Chanters quarters; he didn't want to fight and when accused of spying he broke down into tears. He admitted to spying for Phaedra, but only because she had been blackmailing him. When pressed on what it was, he was incapable of telling. He agreed to let Erebus Probe his Thoughts.

When they did they found out her secret. That she is a silver dragon, about how on her death bed she sold her soul to a devil to avenge the slaughter of her brood, of how there was more to the deal than she knew when she signed, and how she had killed innocents to extend the clock on the task she needed to do now, lest the Nine Hells claim the souls of her childeren.
