Alikaine, The Loreweaver
She is completely ungovernable! I have taught and cared for hundreds of youngsters. I've never had to spank a child until dealiing with Alikaine.
Imaginative and Stubborn
The youngest daughter of Vallencia and Kyranos was a difficult child who refused to apologize when caught lying or fighting with other children. When Xandra made her sit under the art easle in the corner of the schoolhouse, she told Alikaine that she could not come out of the makeshift prison until she said that she was sorry to the boy she had hit. To the teacher's dismay, the stubborn girl was happy to stay imprisoned for the rest of the day. Vallencia often tried to make her daughter stand in the corner for an hour as a punishment, but Alikaine hummed happily to herself and made up stories to pass the time. Even Kyranos was powerless to discipline the precocious girl. He once sent her to her room with no supper, toys or books because she had lied to him. When he went to check on her later, she was laughing to herself. She could live in her imagination and was therefore never bored.When Ali was a tiny babe, she giggled and babbled constantly. I'm glad she never grew out of it.
Gregarious and Loquacious
Telling stories was an art form that came easily to Alikaine. She could artfully weave together a tale that would entertain her friends and family. Over time, she learned to retell the stories with more skill. She enjoyed having a crowd hang on her every word. Alikaine's enthusiasm for telling tall tales eventually gave way to a more scholarly approach. She fell in love with the histories and clan lessons. She memorized the facts and details about battles and hardships from long ago. This was a task some might have called tedious, but Alikaine's imagination would transport her back in time. She became a good student and her renditions of the clan's lore were able to immerse her listeners so that they too could live in her stories.Loyal and Brave
Even now as a young woman, Alikaine's hair is often singed from getting too close to Fire Spirits. She has no fear of heights or wild animals. She seeks adventure and companionship. After their father's passing, Alikaine is able to convince her elder sister, Ember, The Fire Sorceress, to travel together to the annual The Loreweavers Festival. It is the first time they travel far from home without either parent. Alikaine is determined to protect her sister and help her through mourning.Betrayal and Transformation
Story Spoiler
After fleeing The Loreweavers Festival, Alikaine and Ember travel through Icewraith Expanse with the handsome and charismatic Ambroze acting as their guide. His Vampirism is kept secret from them until they arrive at The Demonheart Vault.
It is too late when the girls learn that their evil aunt, Vareena, The Warlock, and Vrrosh, The Last Goblin, control the icy prison. Out of guilt, Ambroze leaves The Demonheart Vault questioning his loyalties. He does not know that Vareena plans on draining Ember's Dragon Blood to fuel vile ritual magic and that Vareena will nearly kill her youngest niece in the attempt to create another vampire servant. Alikaine survives the stab to her heart only due to the perfect timing of her death inbetween heartbeats. Her transformation will be difficult.

This article may be a confession about why Mrs. Alexander spanked me in Kindergarten, LOL. Alikaine will have a hard time with her transition but I am sure she'll come out fine on the other side. :)
