Masters' Island
The origin of disaster in the once-existent Hokkaido, Japan, The Masters Island is a chunk of land that was commandeered by "Savage" Kenneth Masters and used as a training ground for interdimensional beings. With his passing, it is now a refuge for those who wish to train in martial arts, find their own Nirvana and enjoy the Arch in relative peace away from the forces of light and darkness.
Geography
Out of all the islands in the Archipelago, Masters Island boasts the most gorgeous and oriental geography. This is because of Savage Ken's immense financial contribution from his sex trafficking and drug smuggling companies that dominated East Asia. About a quarter mile before even reaching the island, visitors are greeted by a massive crimson torii gate and the extended decks that allow those who dwell in the dojo to witness any newcomers. The island itself has very smooth, sloping shores that lead directly into a verdant strip of grass, peppered with hibiscus flowers that sit on either side of multiple bridges. Visitors can then follow the dock bridges to the mainland, which lead directly to the dojo's entrance.
The rest of the island is a mixture of different oriental gardens, a sacred graveyard and the massive, overindulgent dojo structure.
Fauna & Flora
Masters Island has some of the most visually stunning animals and wildlife in the entire Archipelago. As the island is filled to the brim with different gardens, a majority of the flora is made up of different Japanese plants such as rhododendrons, sakura, Japanese maples, peonies and wisteria. It is also home to various bushes and shrubbery that help divide the visual beauty from the more sacred grounds of the graveyard, such as hakonechloa, ferns and black pines. The most striking piece of flora on the whole island is the abundance of sakura trees that leave their pink and white petals to sometimes drift along the shore.
Selectively, Ken ensured that most of the fauna on the island were not only directly from Japan but also mostly game species. This created an abundance of deer, bears, sparrows and wild boar. Though there are smaller animals, such as squirrels and hares, the dominant species on the island are the Japanese Macacques. They are often seen looming in the trees and echoing out laughter that is eerily similar to Ken's.

However, the most sought-after resource on the island is Savage Ken's secret kush. It is said that, after relations started to break down in Japan and its subsequent destruction, Ken started planting his rare strain of cannabis deep within the gardens of the island. Ken usually called it Hadou Weed. Those who inhale or ingest the plant produce an effect that combines the symptoms of PCP and Ecstasy, invoking both their violent, paranoid urges and their sex drives. However, if the body is unable to handle the drug, they will enter a comatose state an hour after their first inhale, usually waking twenty-four hours later will varying amounts of amnesia.
Though its location on the island is unknown, some have said that it is guarded by a massive mandrill baboon under a "bleeding tree". Those who have hunted for it either have not survived or live to tell the tale without their bounty and most of their limbs.
History
When Savage Ken arrived from his original dimension and after his initial criminal run in North America, he fled to Japan to make Lake Mashu his permanent home. Although he wrestled with the possessing spirits of Gaia, Orochi and Sinister, Ken had enough sense to fulfill his ego and create his Japanese fantasy home. He split his father's hotel corporation into an underground human trafficking ring and drug smuggling organization so that he could fuel his fantasy. In just a matter of weeks, and after acting as the cruel, unrelenting foreman, the dojo was finally built with around-the-clock construction. As time went on, and as the construction workers eventually died of exhaustion after being pushed to their brink by Ken, he eventually hired some people from the adjoining island of Hokkaido, promising a hefty paycheck for anyone who could beautify his property.
Although his ruse succeeded, he believed that it was overshadowed by the massive amount of bodies that was littering the gardens. After dumping a few dozen of them into the lake, and eating a handful of others, he decided that he, eventually, needed a graveyard to bury them all. However, the sudden introduction of interdimensional fighters and international police organizations delayed this idea until he finally settled on hiring women he had "seduced" into working for him, called Dojo Hos. Through this, he sent them to work in order to section off a part of the island purely for all the dead people who would eventually begin to pile up, especially since deathmatches were happening at the dojo at an alarming rate. In a matter of a year, Masters Island shifted from a beautiful, unknown vacation spot to the nexus of chaos on the planet.
Ever since his death at the hands of Sinister Maharana, the entire island has been kept up by various veterans who once occupied it. However, Ken's lingering energies, or Dojo Magic as many call it, are so deeply ingrained into the island itself, that even his odor remains. Now, it serves as an indulgent shrine to the playboy martial artist in his darkest and most arrogant days.
Tourism
Those who come here either do so for vacation, training or with the belief that, one day, Ken will return. Some way. Somehow.
