At A Glance

The Athyros family has held these lands with little controversy for over two hundred years. The family was granted Free Lordship approximately 130 years ago for long service and loyalty to the Throne. The Athyros lands occupy an odd 'notch' in the border between Eventide and the lands surrounding Rhuvael. In times past, the family has been a bulwark to aggression from the Eorl of Eventide although no such conflicts have occurred for over eighty years.

The Athryos family is led by the strong-willed Lady-Knight, Vilaeve Athyros, who took over after her father's peaceful death.

-218 BT |Athyros family sheltered the Solaim family after they fled the Midlands. Having been dispossessed of their lands during the wars that led to the 1st Midlands Campaign by Rhone, the survivors of Solaim spent a number of years here under protection and grace of the family's lord before they were granted lands of their own in Rhone..
