At A Glance

The EVODEL family holds authority over a small manor in the western portion of the Eorldom of Shields. Although the family is barely two decades old, the family name is respected. Even if only in Shields, where tales of the loyalty and service provided by Lord Asaph's father and grandfather are still common fare amongst the other Sworn Swords when the keg runs low. The current Lord, Asaph Evodel, has spent the past few years fumbling through being the lord of his people and his own family although he has shown the energy lately to acquit himself honorably. Currently, the family consists only of Lord Asaph and his two younger sisters, Anara and Aenelle, whom are both unmarried.

History

The Evodel family was raised to vassal status in 32ET by the late Eorl Damalda, Nalil's father, for services under their banner over a number of years. Lord Asun Evodel, the 1st Lord Evodel, served as a Sworn Knight of Shields just as his grandfather did before them. For their decades of service, the family was invested with land and title. When Lord Asun passed away in 49 ET, no one was more surprised than Asaph Evodel.
