Kian Abither
Oligarch Kian Abither
The head of the Abither family and one of the six Oligarchs of Reishi. Kian's Ifrit nature makes him glow at several points across his body and at the tips of his hair, and also causes him to appear younger than he actually is. Despite being more than sixty years old, one would be forgiven for assuming that Kian was in his early twenties - younger than his own son Jak Abither, even.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
As an Ifrit, Kian has maintained an excellent physical condition for much longer than one would expect of a man in his sixties; he is still as strong and agile as he has ever been. His Ifrit blood shines through in various places across his person - his eyes glow orange like smoldering coals, his nose, ears, and mouth release firey light, the tips of his hair appear to be constantly smoldering, and the old scars across his body glow.
Facial Features
Kian has seen his fair share of fights, and hasn't escaped cleanly each time. He has three scars across his face, one diagonally across his forehead and two more forming a cross on his right cheek. His neck, similarly, has a rather large scar from when his head was nearly taken off by a raider's axe.
Special abilities
As an Ifrit, Kian is naturally resistant to fire and extreme heat and is capable of some fire magic.
Apparel & Accessories
Kian wears loose clothing of the Northwestern Amahitza style - effectively lightly armored robes done mainly in blues. He styles his robes with red strands and tassels, and the typical Reishi gold outlines.

Education
Kian received standard education for a Korosa nobleman, albeit with a greater focus on the concepts of managing large groups of people than on art or the craftsmen's trades. He maintains a solid understanding of the Reishi trading scene, as any self-respecting nobleman would, but does not have as granular of knowledge as those more invested in its maintenance.
Morality & Philosophy
Kian is cruel, and probably the most unabashedly wicked person on Reishi. He implemented the "Skumwall," wherein a wave of unarmed, unarmored slaves are sent as a buffer to ward off incoming assaults against the island so that the guard force as an extra few moments to pick off raiders or to set up shellbolters or cannons, he developed the patchwork undead, amalgamations of dead slaves and raiders stitched together into a barely-living worker that can be worked literally to death, then brought back again with minimal effort, and he routinely sends out the Sharpgold Bounty Hunters to capture new slaves under the guise that they had "escaped."
He is unquestionably evil; incapable of love or sympathy even to his own family.
