Viera currently works as a magecrafter, as she inherited her grandmother Yasmin's sorcerous blood. Beyond her magic, Viera works with her father Lavernus to influence the Korosa political scene as much as she can with what leverage she has.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
From a Reishi's perspective, Viera seems unhealthy; her skin is too pale, her body too slender, her eyes too dull. In truth, Viera's sorcerous blood keeps her in excellent condition, and it is her tendency to remain indoors and to not engage in physical labor that has kept her skin fair and her body seemingly frail.
Identifying Characteristics
Viera seems to be a monotone, with skin white and eyes gray. Her only colorful feature is her red hair, and that lack of vibrancy alone makes her stand out among the Reishi.
Special abilities
Viera, like her grandmother, is a sorceress of the unicorn bloodline. She isn't as powerful as Yasmin, but she has talent and fewer years of experience. With a bit more practice and effort, she could be a truly impressive mage.
Apparel & Accessories
Viera dresses mainly in muted tones. Blacks, deep purples, and blues, and tends to favor more provocative clothing, improper for most people in polite society. Fortunately, her scandalous nature isn't showcased often, as she mainly remains within the Maydlow estate.
Mental characteristics
Education
Viera's education centered mainly around instruction from her grandmother on how to control her abilities. She has a reasonable grasp of arithmetic, trade, and history, as any Reishi noble would, but she is much better informed on matters of Amastya, especially as it relates to her bloodline.
Mental Trauma
Rashona's treatment of Lavernus damaged Viera's perception of love. For most of her formative years, her parents, ostensibly, did not love one another, and she knew with certainty that both were having affairs. Only her grandmother's tales of Karlus and, eventually, Lavernus' remarriage to Althea maintained Viera's faith in love, but she still has a somewhat cynical view of it. In her estimation, you have to try at least twice to find one worth keeping.
Morality & Philosophy
Viera is more debauched than other members of her family (barring Melissa, perhaps), and may be considered insensitive. This is true, to a certain extent, but she does have her family's caring nature, it's just buried under a mound of cynicism. Viera is eventually good.

Motivation
Viera is primarily motivated by spite. She has an intense dislike for the Abithers--including her mother Rashona. While she fundamentally agrees with her grandmother's assertions that slavery has to go, Viera can't deny that at least part of the reason she's putting so much effort into it is to spite the Abithers.
However, Viera is a smart girl, and she knows that she'll have to have some greater aspirations after getting her revenge. It should be a pit-stop, not the final destination. Her ultimate goal is to secure a mage's education on the Wakague Islands, then come back and found her own magic academy in Korosa. Then, with a few extra magecrafters, there will be no need for slave labor.

Although she is somewhat introverted, Viera is certainly not shy, and in fact seems incapable of embarrassment to some. She is generally kind, albeit with a higher level of snark than one would expect from a noblewoman, and is considered by many to be a bewitching young woman - so much so that she is routinely accused by concerned mothers of having cast enchantments on their sons.
