Highlady Viera Vernilet- Kenda
Viera Vernilet is the wife to Davion Vernilet, one of Reishi's six Oligarchs. She is a thirty four year old caracal demi-human (known as a Yucaves) native to the fringelands between coastal Veilee and inland Silvus.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Although the raw athleticism Viera built up in her youth has since faded, she still retains her cat-like agility and a touch of her strength. She is slender, healthy, and beautiful by most standards.
Identifying Characteristics
Viera is immediately recognizable by her ears, which add another full six inches to her height, and her tail, a four-foot long whip-like cord that ends in a flare of wine-red hair that seems to defy gravity, writhing like a living flame.
Apparel & Accessories
Veira is the core of fashion on Reishi Island, as she manages the popular Sunbleached clothier. She started the trend of Amahitzan fashion, but is now pulling the style further south, through the Contention and into Ides. Viera wears a northern Ides style, with high-waisted pencil-skirts, leggings, heels, and long-sleeved tops of thin fabric. She maintains the Reishi aesthetic by giving the tops deep-cuts and accessorizing in gold.

Education
Viera traveled from the inlands of Silvus, through the costal regions of Veilee, and across the Asamaline Expanse to study at the academy of the Wakague Islands. She didn't necessarily do this by choice, but rather because no other place would accept her; the savagery of the Kenda clan was a stigma too great for locals to overlook. So far from her homeland, however, there were few who would recognize her clanname, and so she was more easily accepted. At the academy, she learned all that could be taught, seeking to distance herself from her savage beginnings. There, she met her current husband Davion Vernilet.
Morality & Philosophy
Viera has a touch of that Silvus savagery to her even after nearly two decades away from it - sharp instincts that refuse to be dulled - but she is mostly in control of herself. Viera shares her husbands pragmatism, though she has a bit more emotional understanding than Davion, and tempers his plans accordingly.
