Lord Egan Lassiter
Egan Lassiter was a council member of Saltmarsh. Egan's opinion often causes great arguments with in the council. His family has strong ties in Saltmarsh which include the Merchants' Guild, the Saltmarsh Play House, the Saltmarsh Playhouse and the Lilybrook Orphanage. He is often at odds with Lady Lyra Ivessa.
Egan was approached by the Night Masks and paid off to make sure their smuggling operation at the old Gellen House was left alone. Egan made sure the old Gellen House was deemed off limits and made sure no one investigated it.
Egan discovered the Night Masks were looking for Mazel Analith. Egan discovered Mazel Analith was living with the Dermont family. Egan paid Zed, the head of the assassins guild in Saltmarsh, to kill the Ed and Mary Dermont so Egan could gain custody of Mazel.
Egan arranged for the Dermont children and Mazel be held at the Lilybrook Orphanage until he could turn them over to the Night Masks. Egan was betrayed by Lady Lilybrook by refusing to turn the children over to him for some unknown reason.
When the Night Mask's operation was discovered at the carnival and was being investigated by the local constable, Egan paid Zed to assassinate the group to cover his connections with the Night Masks. Egan was killed in his office by a demon creature as a result of silencing him.
