Karla expressed she just found out she had some unique powers and has the ability to summon creatures from the shadow planes. She seems to be putting together memories as she told Fraic she doesn't remember much other than finding out she can do things by thinking it. She was last surround by Waterdeep's city guard and was able to kill them and injure Barnibus Blastwind.
