Demographics

Thallingen, being the Capitol of Drinuvaria, is a veritable melting pot of races, each bringing their own unique skill set to improve the lives of all. The Majority of the people here are Humans, as the original race of the Drinuvarian Kingdom but as more city states joined the fold those numbers began to change.

Government

While the King of Drinuvaria does reside within the city, it has its own Governor to oversee the daily running of the city and its surrounding area. They are suported by a city council who represent not only the number of races in the city but also all of the major recognised trades and industries.

Defences

As it was originally created as a lone city state Thallingen has a large wall surrounding the Old City, which has now become the home for many of the government buildings as well as a central Keep for the King. The remainder of the city has spread far beyond the walls originally built. The Kingdom is prosperous and the city sits some ways in land, protected by the other city states who sit in the way of the likely invasion routes. For that reason the Governor of the time decide not to build additional curtain walls.

Industry & Trade

The city deals heavily in the trade and processing of precious metals, brought down to the city by river from the mining cities in the Crowanmar Mountains. The City also serves as a hub for trading and distributing produce from the surrounding farms and fishing towns on the coast. In addition to this there are many services and expertise which are on offer here which can help a person solve nearly any problem they might have.
