Crystal Spires
The Crystal Spires is the island that houses Nasrelts Academy. There is only one dock on the entire island that connects to the only road through the Spires. The there are no shores nor beaches on the island as it mountains stop right at the sealine.
Geography
The Crystal Spires are exactly as they are named. The entire island consists of a crater of mountains that curl up to the sky in like black spires. At the centre of the crater chasm lies Nasrelts Academy and surrounding the castle are the fog forests, a woods that slowly die the closer you get to the crater edges and the base of the Spires. Between the lush forests and the dead woods is a boggy marsh.
Part of the living woods has been cleared into rolling meadows that act as the training grounds for the school. All within the crater is covered in a constant blanket of fog.
There are two Pixie Circles found the Crystal Spires Island; one by the docks and one within the Fog Forests.
The mountains spires are completely impassable save for one pass between mountains. It is the only entrance to the chasm. Within the chasm one can travel up and around the spires, and into the labyrinth of caves and tunnels that run throughout them.
These tunnel systems are vast and expansive. they have never been fully charted in all the aeons since their formation. Some lead to the caves filled with primordial crystal and others lead down into a winding system filled with toxic plants, mushrooms and vines.

The greenhouses of the Academy grows a wealth of herbs, plants and trees but the caverns below the Ash Fae tower also grows a range of rare, poisonous plants, fungus and plants. Among both locations are plants cultivated solely there, that are found nowhere else.
Within the Fog Forests are a plethora of herbs, plants and flora that are exceedingly rare.

History
The Crystal Spires were formed aeons ago upon the First King's death. The power explosion that resulted from his death created a impact crater from the sheer force of it. The very earth around him ricocheted out around him and solidified in the same instance, forming a crater surrounded by finger like mountains curling up around it.
