Ekattanery of Cl. Arimea Retributor
History
The Ekattanery of Cl. Arimea Retributor is an Anneliyan Sollarium in the eponymous Cl. Arimea Vicary of Larfleur. The Sollarium is the mother church of the Archekattanery of Larfleur.
It was dedicated to Cl. Arimea the Retributor in 302 AT. The Archekattanery was established to govern all the laucons of Akemar and to rival the influence of the Order of Cl. Cellian in Larfleur. The Order controlled Insurba and under the Corporate Dominion of Velaire, the monks of the order had achieved a spiritual monopoly over the people of Larfleur. The establishment of the Archekattanery, approved by the Ekattan of Solvivium, freed the laucons of Larfleur from subjugation to the monastic order of Cl. Cellian.
The Sollarium was built in the typical pall-shaped, with its Great Door facing north-east. The central tower was 110m tall and could be seen from far beyond the city. The Sollarium was built out of white limestone which was frequently washed and cleaned. The Sollarium was in a constant state of construction and reconstruction between 302 AT and 258 PT, providing the primary nexus of craftsmanship for many of the trades of the city. The Sollarium was decorated with intricately carved wood beams, stone gargoyles and ornaments, painted facades depicting religious scenes, stained glass windows depicting civic victories, and carefully sculpted effigies. The Sollarium was filled with the most beautiful choir, the most calming incense, and most subtle details. Many craftsmen earned their living working on the Sollarium, often earning their qualifications by adding to the structure in some way.
