Lippit
Country of Highlanders that are subject to the Mournful Queen herself. However, their limitless adoration for her is truly inspiring.
...for no leader has ever known love as Linn and Lippit.
Structure
Lippit is a typical monarchical power setup with a king (or in this case, queen) who wields executive power over its major affairs while lower-ranking officials advise and oversee the less pertinent details. This country's capital is located immediately Outround to its primary defenses, which are further guarded by the famed Flarewood dome that spans its entire surface. The internal structure forces any who seek entrance to pass three main gates, then its military camps, before finally reaching the castle.
Such a spectacular display is impressive, even for a Highland country, which prompted the construction of their self-proclaimed rival's Dikarian Cone. It was based off a design made by the queen shortly after she was orphaned, and has since become a beloved landmark of the Lippitup. However, the monarch herself doesn't seem to care about nostalgia, which is clearly projected through the displeased frown she wears to every public event, earning her country the nickname "Land of the Mournful Queen". To the surprise of Dikaria, the locals accepted this title with pride.
Public Agenda
While this country is unique in its separation from the Parapoptsi, they continue to seclude themselves from foreign politics. In this way, they have no public agenda. However, the queen of this strange land has an intense hatred for unfair treatment (and wealthy people in general), leading her to openly condemn the actions of Beleford Beguile and any Fluxer who "plays his game".
Of course, her all-too-willing citizens are more than happy to adopt her views as their own, creating a tightly knit society that is united by a common love for its ruler. Despite her extremely hostile nature, the Lippitup see their queen as a perfect leader who can do no wrong and have been known to defend this position aggressively. In fact, the country's main agenda is changing the world to fit her personal ideals, whether she wants it or not.
History
The first king of Lippit was an ex-explorer by the name of Gurp, who finally settled down with his five wives and three husbands after nearly four-hundred years of discovery. It soon became exactly like any other Highland settlement, only changing into a uniquely independent country during the most century when its melancholic king became exhausted with underhanded dealings and ejected the Parapoptsi influence. After a brief reformation, both him and his wife were brutally assassinated, leaving their only daughter to precede them.
Barely out of her juvenile years, this young woman immediately reorganized the entire country to maximize civilian protection, then applied an impressive defense system that has yet to fail. Naturally, this scared the hell out of Dictator Beguile who meant to cripple Lippit and led to yet another assassination attempt. Fortunately, the queen predicted this, and the best Parapoptsi spy was returned to him in five pieces.
