Brockman

Poor, poor Brockman. He lived a life of slavery, but managed to escape, and his only goal at the end of his life was to find his missing daughter¹. He showed up on the facility’s doorstep, ragged and distraught, and Jalan Kendith and Drant shoved him into a room with some comfort food until Fritz could deal with him.

Her heart broke upon seeing him but she couldn't bear to tell him the truth, so she communicated what the party had told everyone that had inquired since: that she was dating a new man (Roger) in the last days she was seen and that she probably eloped. The party gave him a sympathetic pat on the back and sent him on his way (he refused to accept that she was gone and was intent on continuing to look).

Drant, however, had different plans, and subtly communicated to Nymph and Dracarius to murder him in cold blood before he could make it back to town, and his body now lies somewhere, eviscerated and alone, in the expansive forests between the facility and Stonedeep.
