Steve and Rosemarie Dean

A leprechaun and tabaxi, respectively, couple, whom the Soular Power Caravan encountered on their path between Stalwartz and Streamwalk.¹ The couple lamented that they had fled Stalwartz because they'd wanted to marry, but the denizens of the town didn't approve (interspecies relationships are frowned on in general, even in the zoo of a town that is Stalwartz, apparently).

Vincent Syndarkyl offered to marry the pair with 25 silver worth of silver dust. The caravan asked for their names, and they initially refused, claiming that giving out their names would give the travelers power over them, with Steve panickedly holding out his symbol of Ragnar when it was insinuated that Drant could do magic. After reassuring the couple and learning their names, the wedding proceedings began.

WEDDING

Fritz collected flowers for a bouquet, Jalan provided the alcohol, and Terrence Sky provided the music for the ceremony. Vincent sprinkled powdered silver over the couple's heads, then had them join hands. He performed a small spell, and the powdered silver congealed into a solid mass around their joined hands. The pair raised their joined hands to the sky, said their vows, and in one final burst of magic the congealed silver burst back into powder.

Naomi Venstrum was extremely keen on collecting the bouquet which Rosemarie threw, but Drant was equally keen on keeping it away from her. He thorn whipped it towards Fritz, who hit the deck, and Isabelle caught it instead, looking a bit melancholy, longingly at Gregory, as she did so.

After the proceedings, the caravan allowed the newlywed couple to accompany them onwards to Streamwalk, with Jalan insisting that Steve function as his manservant for the remainder of the journey. As the rest of the caravan who travels inside the Pleasure Barge would attest, and much to their chagrin, the newlyweds spent the majority of that final day making out in the close confines of the barge.

DEMISE

Later that night, while Fritz and Jalan were preoccupied with Traj'miir and his shop of curiosities, Drant took Steve and Rosemarie Dean with him to collect firewood. In the woods, they encountered the wolves which had haunted the caravan earlier in the day, and which seemed to have a mysterious connection to the hive mind which Drant had given himself over to. The wolves morphed into some eldritch horror and devoured the couple, thanking Drant for his contribution and granting him an unsettling extension of their own hive mind powers. [p Drant hid the bodies, and though the couple's absence was briefly noted, a search party was not formed and they were not found, and the Caravan continued on its journey to Streamwalk.
