Session 4: Should've Taken the Bug Room!

General Summary

In the Mountain's Toe Gold Mine, The party continue to argue about what to do next. Thokk ignored them and attempted to knock down one of the doors, but he was intercepted by Zeleen (cute). Zeleen explained that the last time they let anyone into that area, things didn't end well, and asked the party one last time to reconsider. After talking for some time, they came to an agreement, Zeleen would allow the Hat Gang into the Red Wizards' lair as long as they were confident they could protect her and her fellow wererats from the Wizards.
Without asking for permission, the party decided to rest in the mine and chatted with the wererats more. Zeleen (cute) helped Dymera bond with {screaming noises}, and the two flirted with one another. The cute rat also told the party what she knew about the Wizards further into the mine, there were e̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ s̶i̶x̶ four wizards, although one was killed, and none of them had left their lair in several weeks.
Meanwhile, Thokk and Elarnya went hunting. Although Elarnya wasn't very successful, Thokk caught two rabbits, skewering one on each of his clawed gauntlets.
After resting for 8 hours, the party decided to take the right door. Dymera picked the lock of the sturdy wooden door and, after ascending down some stairs and stepping through another door, the party was faced with a large stone room, the floor of which was entirely covered by 2 feet of dead insects. Several platforms, which could be jumped across, presented a bug-free path to the door at the far side of the room. Wasting no time, Thokk leaped onto the third platform, however, he activated a hidden pressure plate, releasing a swarm of live, hungry bugs from the ground. Luckily for the half-orc, he took little damage from the swarming invertebrates, but the experience had shaken him, and he decided it was best to go back.
When attempting to jump back to the doorway, Thokk failed and was submerged in two feet of insect carcasses. The floor beneath him felt like a metal grid, though he didn't want to hang around to investigate. He quickly climbed up into the doorway, whereupon Dymera set the bugs on fire with burning hands. Then everyone left.
Next, the party tried the left door.
