Hat Gang
The Hat Gang, often stylised as Hät Gäng, also known as The Party, is a group of semi-competent adventurers, and a few of their acquaintances, active around the town of Phandalin, currently trying to save their friend and/or acquaintance Gundren Rockseeker, who is being held at Cragmaw Castle, and uncover the coveted Lost Mine of Phandelver.
Party Members
- Boston Bornes - An ex-mercenary winterborn human champion who seeks to atone for his past wrongdoings and a has passion for cooking. His old friend Thell Dendrar was recently killed by the Redbrands. In the past, Boston has been influenced by an entity known as Evil Boston.
- Elarnya - A high elf ranger who wields a magical longbow named Talon. She enjoys spending time alone, taking notes about her adventures, and only sometimes shooting innocent oxen. When she was a child, her teacher was killed by orcs and goblins that burned down the library she grew up in, leaving her with a hatred for both.
- Jensen Astria-Wagner - A silver dragonborn wizard of the divination school with a fondness for hats, Thunderwaves, and his hawk familiar, Kellogs. His parents were killed by goblins of the Cragmaw Tribe when he was young, he and his sister were raised and trained by their uncle.
- Dymera - A mildly insane wood elf arcane trickster with li'l robot gnome legs and a lack of boundaries when it comes to hugs. The Hat Gang met at her at Gnomengarde, where she had been hired to slay the Mimic that was terrorizing the gnomes that reside there, this unfortunately led to the loss of her legs to a spinning blade trap.
- Thokk Verantor, a half-orc cleric/druid and former member of the Anchorites of Talos. Thokk left the anchorites when the storm god spoke to him in a dream, telling him that the anchorites had lost their way, joining with the Hat Gang because of this shared enemy.
- Mr. Squirrel - He is being a squirrel and he do be having armor.
Absent Members
- Yuri Canmore - A human barbarian who is, in fact, Evelyn von Alexandrine, the heir to the noble Alexandrine family who murdered he father and now has a bounty on her head. She often falls unconscious after raging. she met the party after they rescued her from an orc camp, and travelled with them for a while, util her friend Markus Smith informed her tha somebody was using her father's identity in Luskan, after which she left the party to put a stop to them.
Honorary Members
- Coins - A kenku that works at the Phandalin Miner's Exchange whom the party took a liking to. Coins was instrumental in the official formiation of the Hat Gang.
Former Members
- Nissany - A forest gnome glamour bard who , when she isn't picking fights with prone ogres or nearly being killed by bookshelves, uses her bardic talents and affinity with nature to aid the party. She grew up near the area where Phandalin now stands, and was a childhood friend of Greta and Gundren. Nissany left the party after Greta's death, having lost her lust for adventure and needing time for herself.
- Neko - A tabaxi monk who often spoke a strange language known as "Japanese", that no one else could understand. Neko fell madly in love with a demon in the Redbrand Hideout who, after being freed by the party, planeshifted away with the tabaxi to the elemental chaos, where Neko jumped into a pit of fire and died.
- Snow on the Mountaintop - A tabaxi abjuration wizard who left the party sometime after the Raid on the Redbrand Hideout and began selling drugs in Phandalin.
