Vengeance Class: Skycrusher

The Skycrusher is single most devastating warship possessed by The Iron Band of Molten Heart. It is a behemoth of black iron, powered by the most potent fire magictech the Skies have ever seen. Smoke and flame belch forth from its huge engines, propelling the mass of metal and materialized violence through the Skies at the speed of a rocket. Its design is monstrous, intentionally evoking tales of terrible Sky-beasts which lurk at the edges of the world and swallow wayward ships whole. As it flies, its engines roar like rolling thunder, striking terror into the Band's foes, as they fear the very Skies are tearing upon its baneful approach.   The Skycrusher is armed with two massive Stone Cannons on its deck, a huge naval ram on its bow, and a bomb bay door built into its underside. The ship is also capable of carrying sixty passengers, making it an ideal transport for moving troops. No matter how you cut it, the Skycrusher is a machine of war, and radiates a singularly Doro sensibility.   The ship can use a special feature of its engine, the Era 4: Sol Supremacy, to boost its speed at the cost of draining its engine of elemental energy faster. This means that the most powerful ship in the The Iron Band fleet can quickly get to nearly anywhere it needs to go to support other forces, within a relatively short period of time.

Utility

The Skycrusher's primary use is intimidation. Although a formidable ship with a impressive record of naval supremacy, the Skycrusher is more oft used by The Iron Band as an ultimatum when settling disputes. The Skycrusher's reputation precedes it, and foolish is the captain who willingly puts theirself in its path.

Access & Availability
Currently, there are only two Vengeance Class: Skycrushers in existence. One, the M.H Mountain Back serves as ace of the The Iron Band fleet, while the other, the M.H Storm-Splitter, has been lost for several years. Recent reports indicate that an enigmatic pirate captain has claimed it as the flagship of her own personal fleet. How the M.H Storm-Splitter was lost is unknown, but according to rumor, it has a new name: The Spotted Dick.
Discovery
The Skycrusher is the premiere vehicle of the Vengeance class of Sky Ships, the current design class for Era 4 ships designed by The Skywright Guild of Molten Heart. The Vengeance class prioritizes sturdy, bulky, and heavy designs meant to shrug off damage. While other Vengeance class ships prioritize defense, the Skycrusher was the first to blend that focus on defense with a backing of massive firepower.
"Rolling Thunder. Or is it death? I'm not sure, but I see it. First in the distance, but it moves closer, painting the clouds scarlet as it barrels through the midnight Sky. So much fire. I swear it must be a dragon, but the captain says its made by the Doro. Then its over us, and heat and pain becomes one and rains hell upon our heads. I was right. It was rolling thunder. It was a dragon. And it most certainly was death."

Hull:

Armor Class. 20
Hit Points. 250 (damage threshold 15)

Control: Helm

Armor Class. 20

Move up to the speed of one of the ship’s movement components, with one 90-degree turn. If the helm is destroyed, the Skycrusher can’t turn.

Movement: Main Fire Thrusters

Armor Class. 20
Hit Points. 100; −10 ft. speed per 25 damage taken
Speed. 40 ft.

Movement: Nitrous Thrusters

Armor Class. 20
Hit Points. 100; −15 ft. speed per 20 damage taken (becomes useless at 40 HP)
Speed. 60 ft.

Weapon: Stone Cannon (4)

Armor Class. 18
Hit Points. 75
Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 600/2,400 ft., one target. Hit: 44 (10d10) piercing damage.

Weapon: Burn Bomb Dropper

Armor Class. 20
Hit Points. 75 (damage threshold 20) (If the Burn Bomb Dropper takes 1 point of fire damage while it still has a charge inside of it, it explodes, dealing 15d6 fire damage to the ship per charge left in the Burn Bomb Dropper.
Deposit Payload (3 charges, recharge 5-6): The Skycrusher rains bombs in a 20 ft by 20 ft cylinder directly under itself. The bombs explode upon impact, creating an effective blast zone that extends 20 ft past the edge of the cylinder. Any creature within the blast zone must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 15d6 fire damage

Weapon: Navel Ram

Armor Class. 20
Hit Points. 100 (threshold 15)
The Skycrusher has advantage on all saving throws relating to crashing when it crashes into a creature or object. Any damage it takes from the crash is applied to the naval ram rather than to the ship. These benefits don’t apply if another vessel crashes into the Skycrusher.
If the Skycrusher uses its Nitrous Thrusters for the movement of the ram, double the damage dice.
