Festival of Lights
The Festival of Lights is a long held tradition that celebrates the founding of Jordsvik and the casting out of the Risi. In ancient times the people were wild and lived as a hunter gather community in the caves in the Jordsvik region. The people were lead by Egil the Bold a great hero of myth to use their wildness to overcome the Risi threat. However Egil the Bold went on to establish to Raven's Ford and set aside his wild past and lived as a civilized and enlightened ruler. The festival commorates these events. During the festival Egil the Bold warband will appear representing the communities ancestors and will judge the people either blessing or cursing the group for the next year.
