The party learned that the Dogs of War who attacked may have been imposters. Mathis recommended the part discuss the matter futher with Tannibore Egilson.   In addition Malcor learned that the The Tower of Knowledge near the The Scarlet Temple has mysteriously gone dark.

After successfully dispatching the Dogs of War the party learned that the group may have intended to simply steal Mathis and Gertrude winter supplies rather than actually killing them.   Kelo had also stated that he heard from his contacts with in the Dogs of War that some people were seen impersonating them, and these attackers may have been from that other group. After inspecting the bodies the party was not able to confirm whether or not this was the case.   In addition Mathis informed the group of another attack which was far worse known as the Massacre of the Riker Farm in which the family was not so lucky. Mathis suggested the party discuss this matter further with Tannibore Egilson in Raven's Ford.   In addition Malcor learned that the The Tower of Knowledge light house went dark shortly after he left the The Scarlet Temple. This has made navigating out of the bay near Raven's Ford very difficult for local fishermen.
