Cleric
Clerics are the channeler counterpart to Physicias, both of whom specialize in healing. Clerics specialize in channeling and using the Aré form of Ega. Occasionally their practice and ability is known as Clericism.
While one Cleric may handle physical healing alone, it is incredibly rare for them to handle Ega healing alone -- at minimum, two Clerics are typically required regardless of the injury.
With Ygyn Amnohphei having been recently confirmed as dead, they currently do not have a Grand Elder to represent them.
Career
Qualifications
They are normally found organically or through Peithya's Feast, but occasionally in Holdings readying children for life in the church of the Order of the Burning Crown as with Shepherds of Leaving.
Career Progression
It is common for Clerics to reach natural 'plateaus' of ability beyond which they cannot progress and as a result, some choose to specialize in different areas appropriate to their abilities. For example, the highly-skilled Cleric would be able to take on such tasks as complicated surgeries, while a weakly-skilled Cleric would focus on treatment of everyday illnesses and afflictions.
As they dive deeper into their craft, their Ega tends to take on the shape of a crescent moon on its back.

Clerics are incredibly prone to a phenomenon known as 'backflow', wherein they may accidentally allow an affliction or disease into themselves and at an exasperated rate. This was particularly common in the initial years of the Plague of the Bitter Hand when overwork was widespread.
