Ebaith

The Ebaith are the oldest nae'cthosai ethnic group, based solely in Sahle-ve'Ebaith and the surrounding forests. It is the parent ethnicity to all other nae'cthosai ethnicities. 'Ebaith' is also the demonym for those residing in the city, so occasionally -- especially by more purist elders -- the distinction may be made between gu'Ebaith (resident of the city) and gre'Ebaith (a native Ebaith nae'cthosai).
'Pure-blooded' Ebaith are recognizable by their two-point ears: roughly two inches longer than a human's, pointed and tapered, with the second point present in the lower third.
