Joqo Danig (JOH-KOH DAHN-igg)

Joqo was the wife of Aramastus Danig and the mother of Jixcebi. She was originally part of the Salba Stead -- which frequently traveled with the Etir -- and when Aramastus joined the Etir it was in this way that they met. Her mother is Joqaia Eiguw, the matriarch of the Salba Stead and after whom she was named.
She died in mid-1000AC after contracting the Plague of the Bitter Hand. She was known as aloof but generous, resourceful, and beautiful.
