Etir (Eh-TEAR)
The Etir are one of the tribes of Kiva, belonging to the Onshecaat ethnic group. They are one of the foremost koza breeders. Their typical roaming grounds are to the far southwest of Kiva close to the foothills of the Horizon Watchers.
They have approximately five main families and are one of the smaller tribes, numbering no more than eighty members. One notable family is the Acosaphaura, who in turn share a direct ancestor with the Bephtalpet family and thus the tribe of the same name. The Salba Stead often traveled with them pre-war.
When Hezath Zalesper of the Hezar called the kega in late 985AC, the influence of Eraleon and Devatska Acosaphaura (by virtue of the latter's ties with Ustraria) meant that the Etir sided with the Pact of the Blessèd rather than the Violet Accord in the War of the Six. The Bephtalpet were perhaps the only tribe to not react to this decision with scorn.
