Sandlot
A small frontier town, Sandlot was erected to begin extracting the rich arkisium deposits found in the desert. Its current name was originally an unofficial one humorously given by the first colonists, but it stuck and now hardly anyone refers to it by its original name anymore.
Government
It's run by a mayor, a Baron Wolfensnatt. He officially answers to the Emperor, but in practice his direct superior is Third Prince Haebelian due to geographical convenience.

There are a number of arkisium mines around the town.

It's surrounded by desert.
