Don Cole
In his youth he cooked high quality chems for the Kansas Cartel, earning enough caps that he never quite realized just how different he was from humans. Addicts wanting his drugs and prostitutes wanting his caps never dreamed of explaining how disfigured his mutations really made him. It was a rude awakening when he decided to leave the safety of Corvega City the first time, though he pressed on, no longer able to be a cog in this cycle of abuse and tragedy.
Trying to start fresh out west in the cities and towns popping up in the wake of the moving storms, he has lost nearly everything he ever owned just making the trip. When he met Jack Sullivan he took it as a sign from a higher power and agreed to join his cause. Looking for a bit of redemption in his old age, Don makes his old tour bus a home base for the caravan and provides basic medical services when things get messy.
Don hopes to find a place to settle down someday, and although he thinks Jack might be a bit naive, he still appreciates what he is trying to do. It might be a bit soon to say he has enough constitution left to see this dream to its end, but it seems like a worthy cause to spend his days fighting for. Newcomers are always welcome on his bunks and at his dinner table, and he is often the first friendly face they actually see when joining the caravan.
