Cult of Malae
The Cult of Malae formed after The Great Frost when the Void-Dragon Malae waged war against Razael and the Knights of the Blighted Blade.
A small group of Seraph philosophers, whom had worried about overconsumption of hosts under Razael, began to ask about the nature of symbiosis. Convinced that the best possible future for the Seraph species would stem from forming partnerships with the other species in The Hallowed Expanse, they fractured from the Knights of the Blighted Blade.
Under the tutelage and protection of the Void-Dragon Malae, they operated in secret working with only willing hosts (terminal, braindead, etc.) to reproduce. They cult values dedication and when meeting willing hosts, they often require years of study before being allowed to take a Seraph.
What happened in the final battle with Razael is still unknown Malae has not been seen since. Hiding in the shadows from the Knights of the Blighted Blade and without their goddess to guide them, the group now looks to the future on their own under the guidance of the Seraph Spark.
