Malae's Dream
After banding with Akan and the rest of the eternals to defeat the Knights of the Blighted Blade, the Void-Dragon Malae used the last of her strength to lock away the remaining taint. Collapsing into The Ether, followers from the Cult of Malae and the Githyanki defend her dreamstate, an endless archive constantly shifting between pocket dimensions.
The dreamlike archives are anchored to reality in The Hallowed Expanse, in which stands a grand college dedicated to the study of empires now fallen. In contest with the Chantry of Bells, followers of Horus, who seeks to destroy these relics, many adventurers, archeologists, and scholars explore The Hallowed Expanse in search of lost and forbidden knowledge.
