The crowds of Anzez's blood arena cheer for "The Crimson Viper", and Shaad loves every second of it.

Some born under Black Sun cling to their holy missives, but Shaad cares little for hoky quests. Despite significantly more dragon marking than most of those touched by Akan, he surrendered his birthright. To the dismay and fury of many high-ranking priests of The Order of Black Sun, he has spent his life fighting in arenas.



With years of battle in the pits, Shaad has become The Crimson Viper and has cast off his birth name. Some fight for the Gods' glory, honor, or prestige, but Shaad only has two loves in his life: gold & fame. So when the opportunity to gain both in greater quantity than he has ever known came knocking, Shaad joined the Union of Ghosts. Heading into the Hallowed Expanse with greed in his eyes and fortune in his future, Slaad is licking his lips. 

Though whispers suggest he runs from his duties and those who would stop at nothing to assure he fulfills them.
