Refugees from the Council of Rax flee the Knights of the Blighted Blade and make land on Kapaska. The Empire of Sun allows them entry and grants them land as a vassal state on their planet.
As The Golden Horde falls to the Knights of the Blighted Blade, the rift-gates are sealed. With The Empire of Sun cut off from the great technology of the Mirovandia, a new dark age begins.
Akan takes a more active, if mysterious, role in the lives of The Empire of Sun. The Sisterhood of the Dawn is organized to begin mortal sacrifices and technological and magical progress begins to rapidly progress once more.
With growing power, The Order of Black Sun rallies against The Empire of Sun. Taking to the streets and proclaiming their divine right, they bring the city's economy to a halt. After a lengthy social, religious, and military campaign a compromise is made. Law is passed allowing The Order of Black Sun to operate independent of the Death-Queen, but they must act as a vassal state. Taking their own lands, The Order of Black Sun partially separates from their former state.
After several hundred years of highly effective leadership, planning, magical discovery, and reproductive programs under the powerful necromancer and Death-Queen Anzale Kedis, Anzez goes through a stage of rapid expansion. It is during this time that many of the city's seven districts are constructed.
One of the most beloved queens to ever rule over Anzez, her rule was accompanied by unparalleled growth and prosperity. When the sun set on that fated day, she died mysteriously. How such a powerful Necromancer could die to young and without a trace has been a topic of discussion for a thousand years following.
The up and coming Clan Miayra leads an expedition to settle a new colony in the distant uncharted lands. Met with extreme resistance and the promise of great reward, the colony comes at great expense.
Faced by threats on all sides Clan Miayra requests significant resources to build a new Sun Elf army. The Miayra Clan begins a campaign against the unknown.
With the colony Nor Chanras lost, Clan Miayra returns to Anzez with a large mass of riches and a massive army under their banner. Upon their return to Anzez, they built a family fortress and developed the Miayra Aerie. With significant wealth and military power, the clan becomes a major political in The Empire of Sun.
For reasons unknown, the birthrate of Sun Elfs begins to drop significantly. Stillbirth and miscarriage become horrifyingly common and children increasingly rare. With a desperate need for mortal sacrifices to appease the rising sun, but reduced population rate-concern begins to fester. Leaders begin to desperately search for a solution.
Desperate to find a solution to lowering birth rates, the Sun Elfs begin to rapidly invest in magical and technological research. Utilizing the magic of Void-Dragons, The Empire of Sun begin take their first flight off planet and begins to search their solar system for answers.
Reaching out into the stars, The Empire of Sun makes contact with the Ma'Kar Free Traders. Having progressed much further into space travel, relations are slowly developed. In the end, the Ma'Kar are welcomed to establish a trading hub on Kapaska and both trade & research agreements are formed.
With ever-increasing concern over the increasing issue of low birth rate, the major factions of Anzez begin to fight over a solution. Stopping just shy of open conflict, an ideological war begins to break out with each faction fighting for power and the right to implement the solutions they find most practical.
The rift-gate at The Tree of Sorrow unexpectedly reopens and connects Kapaska to Allora once more.
Desperately searching for a solution to the growing concerns in Anzez, Kasula Miayra is appointed to run an elite task force, the Union of Ghosts, to travel through the rift-gate at The Tree of Sorrow and seek the knowledge needed to save the Sun Elfs.
