Rottesheim

Rottesheim is a tiny fishing settlement on a rock islet in the north of the fractured isles of Norheim.  Windswept from the northern storms, there is little in the way of fertile ground with which to grow even the requirements for livestock.  But where there is little on ground, there has always been bounty in the seas.  Rottesheim has always fed itself on the fish and sea kelp that surround it, even to the extent that trade of the "sea weed" has found itself in markets and eateries of Fearun. 
The people here tend to keep to themselves and guard their secrets carefully.  Well known for their obtuseness and resistance to conversation with outsiders. Perhaps this is why so few have ever heard the tale of the fey spirit of Yuna and the kelpie it created.
