Jarl of Gnarlhiem. Of the houses of Moonshae, House Helmudson could be said to be the least interested in expansion. Ruling over the northern swamps, crags and moors, Ulf is contented that should he stay in the graces of the High King, then the destruction that raged in his lands during the unbound insurgency will not come again. The seat of Power for Jarl Helmudson is in Gnarhelm.

He recieved the nick name horse c#$k during the Unbound Insurgency. His leather wearing force was wet with the spring rains and needed to dry their gear before rot set in. During a moment when many, including Ulf had stripped themselves to dry leathers by the fire, the enemy struck. Many tell the tale of the battle of shirts and skins that ensued. Ulf bare naked charged forth with greatsword aloft... his nick name came from the fact that many remarked he carried 2 large "swords" into the fray.
